I’m Dee Harris.

I help changemakers and organizations transform complex challenges into clear stories and actionable strategies. Through writing, creative problem-solving, and systems thinking, I bridge the gap between big ideas and impact. I believe our most urgent challenges need both rigorous thinking, collaboration and deep human imagination.

My work spans global advocacy in open culture with Creative Commons, leadership at one of Oklahoma's largest behavioral health centers, and award-winning contributions to education and mental health storytelling. Whether collaborating with international coalitions or individual students, my goal remains the same: to imagine beyond limits and create new possibilities.

Writing has always been my throughline, the place where I turn messiness into meaning. Today, I’m exploring the shifting relationship between humans and technology: how progress has moved from empowerment to ease, what we risk as machines take over thinking and creating, and how we strengthen the human fluencies needed to build a more intentional future alongside technology.
